Juice Cleanse

These days, the hype seems to be centered around juice cleanses and what they can do for your overall health, diet and lifestyle.

I decided to try a three day juice cleanse (that way it is quick and HOPEFULLY easy.) Because I am from Ontario I decided to go with Total Cleanse based out of Toronto Ontario. They are a fairly new company that has been very successful since opening, and have gained a lot of positive feedback.

The three day cleanse that I am doing with them is called Energize Cleanse. “The Energize Cleanse is our gateway cleanse. It is designed as a mild cleanse for people who want to experiment with cleanses but do not want to resort to an extreme cleanse. The Energize Cleanse is ideal for people who eat whatever they want, whenever they want, but are also looking to give their bodies a REST.” (Total Cleanse)

Here is the lineup of the 6 juices I must drink throughout the three days:

Green Energy: Includes cucumber, celery, kale, lemon, parsley, lettuces, and apple.

Lemon Rush: Includes: lemon, cayenne pepper, maple syrup, and filtered water.

Green Energy (Again)

Very Berry: Includes strawberry, blueberry. pineapple, apple, and lemon.

Lemon Rush (Again)

Red Energy: Includes beet, cucumber, carrot, apple, lemon, and ginger. This one is actually supposed to be “Creamy Cashew” but I cannot stand cashews, so they replaced it for me with this red energy!

I just started this cleanse this morning so tomorrow I will post an update on how I am feeling and how I liked the juices!
