2013 Tony Awards: Best dressed

Broadway’s biggest award night was held Sunday, June 9th, 2013 in New York City. See who I thought rocked the red carpet:

Anna Kendrick: Anna wore a Donna Karan Atelier gown to the Tony’s. She looks so beautiful, that color looks great on her, and the sheer panelling keeps the dress from looking too dark and heavy. Her simple hair and makeup go perfectly with the glamorous gown. Best dressed of the night!

Jane Krawkowski: Jane wore a dazzling Escada dress with a skinny metalic belt around the waist. She looks so fresh, summery and classy. I love everything about her look!

Sigourney Weaver: Sigourney nailed the dress color. This is one of my favorite colors and she rocked it! It’s so clean and no fuss, but looks perfect for the event. I love the random pops of bright colors against the solid blue dress (ie: the red on her clutch, and her yellow gold earrings really stand out.)

Jake Gyllenhaal: Can he do no wrong? Jake looks very handsome and put together (when doesn’t he?) He is looking very Gatsby with his slicked back hair and bowtie!

Shalita Grant: I think Shalita looked beautiful. Her dress had a lot going on, but it wasn’t too busy…it was almost “subtle-glitz.” I love the pop of pink lip stick against the black and white of the dress. My only criticism is that although I love that her hair was back and off her face, I wish it looked a little less messy.

Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka: Last, but certainly not least, the host of the night NPH and his hubby looked amazing on the red carpet! They are both great dressers and¬†know how to match their outfits so that they compliment one another, but don’t clash. So handsome!
